I have a vague recollection of seeing BP's caravan when I went to Gilwell Park with the Cubs when I was about ten.
Other, and somewhat clearer, memories of the day were that my bottle of orange squash leaked and the die from my brand new black uniform socks seeped out and caused my feet and lower legs to take on a rather darker hue than the rest of me.
