the description changes because it rotates some of the different decisions youve made into the text

That is not what I was describing, Ibram. I expect it to shift according to the choices that were made in the latest Issues vote. I was saying that you can get three different descriptions IN THE SAME MINUTE by entering the nation page from different points of their site. 1) from login, 2) go from login to forum, then click back to your nation 3) refresh page when going back to your nation after checking Celarious. Try this one too: The next time you vote on an Issue, take note of the names of the characters who are presenting the various options; select one of the options and click; observe the names of said characters have completely changed when the page comes up again with your choice highlighted.
Depending which way I enter it, my nation page describes me as "devout", "safe", or skips the adjective and puts "renowned for its burgeoning forest cat population". It's obvious that the programmers are "toying with us" when they program the effects of certain decisions, but these errors that I mention above say that there are three separate nation pages for me on their server, improperly linked so that I will arrive at one or the other depending on where I start out.

Tonchi, your country is described as each thing because of a certain way you voted on one issue. You have voted on too many issues to have every adjective come up in the description. So it picks a random handful each time you load the page. One minute you might be "devout, safe, and intelligent," and another time "intelligent, burgeoning forest cats, and safe," and so on. But you will never be "devout" one minute and "not-devout" the next, unless you vote on an issue to swing yourself the other way.

My experiment is coming along as expected. I have two countries which I'm treating totally differently. In Stormieweatherites, all decisions are made with freedom of choice and social welfare as priorities. In Velvet and Steel, all issues are resolved with my personal (the government) comfort and status in mind. It is interesting to watch the gap between the two widen.

Well I joined just as y'all getting bored with it, isn't that always the way....
Still, it will be interesting to see how my lil nation does. Will probably become a haven for dope smokers, paedos and gun runners and prove all the articles in the Daily Mail true!

I'm going to continue to "play", but my mentality is to examine things and see how they work, so if something does not work the way it is supposed to I get upset and try to see whether it can be fixed. The other thing which upsets me is how the supposedly same size nation will end up with hundreds of billions of residents in their profile, something which is patently impossible.
If you want to move things along faster, just change your options to get the maximum number of issues per day. That is less boring ![]()

Yeah, the two issues thing help, but they give you such limited choices. For example, I voted that people on bicycles should not have the right to make demonstrations that brings the city's rush hour traffic to a standstill. Now my nation is listed as preventing any bicycle from using the road.

What Marichiko mentions is why I dismiss at least 20% of these Issues. First I decide whether government on a national level has any business deciding said issue. Then I consider what idiotic thing will happen to my nation description if I chose one or the other option. For instance, the one about whether the Nazis should be prevented from having a rally: I dismissed that one after going through my evaluation process, 1. because it said "in the city" and I am the government of the whole nation, not each city individually; 2. because I could just imagine that if I chose the Free Speech option my profile today would say "North Elasia streets are overrun with violent racist marches".
I must be doing something right because today they are saying my nation has the happiest citizens ![]()

I know it's a game, and a simple one at that. But I kinda see what Tonchi means. I voted against cash for organs - it's something I feel quite strongly about (despite - in my darkest days - wishing it were legal to sell mine after death so my parents could bury me without financial burden if I committed suicide!).
All of a sudden the organ donation rate has dropped amongst my supposedly compassionate & intelligent populace! Hardly. I was also asked whether they could eat my national animal. As I chose the pufferfish I decided to dismiss due to the danger in untrained hands! Overall an amusing diversion. Errrr - has anyone thought about the fact a banned member is part of Cellarious....?
