Shawnee - that's a fine limerick. Are you using the southern pronounciation (yellar and fellar)?

case, you make a good point.
(sorry Flint, I'm not to trying to steal your thread, but...). I'm not really happy with "limp-wristed," (In the version I wrote after having too much sugar with lunch), and that would be a good replacement: We pussyfoot around all day,And "swagger" should fit in there somewhere, too. |

"Limp-Wristed" has a particular funniness to me, being a drummer. We spend so much time with our limbs locked in 90 degree muscle tension, that sometimes, well, your arm tends to assume that 90 degree position without you thinking about it. And, the wrist, well, you dont' want to hold any tension in the wrist, you gotta keep it loosey goosey, so, basically what happens is, without thinking about it, you're standing there, or walking along in the perfect, stereotypical "limp-wristed" pose.

Flint, now that there is a story behind it, I like the image limp-wristed implies.
I forgot that you're a musician. I should leave the poetry/song writing to you. I'm not very good at it and you could do a better job with the rhythym. Maybe you can replace "haggard" with "Ted Haggard." |

"Please, don't let this feeling end
It's everything I am, Everything I want to be..." Ooops, that was the theme from Ice Castles. Never mind.

I scratched my head and to myself said, how many people know the theme from Ice Castles?
What does this say about Shawnee - or about me who is so ignorant of late 70's movie theme songs? |

It says I'm old, and I remember every lyric to every song I've ever heard! I don't know why. It's a blessing and a curse, really.
