The stands were surprisingly full. Whether they were mostly gawkers or not, I’m not sure, but Sundae Girl did a magnificent job organizing the supporters’ section. I didn’t understand all the words to some of the songs, so she can fill us in on that later.

Given that the other team weren't au fait with terrace songs, I'm afraid I took advantage a little. We had a couple of rousing choruses of, "You're not singing any more" and "Shit team, no fans". Still it gave our supporters a sense of identity and got them practised in the art.

As soon as I've identifed our main players I'll be able to teach our supporters some more specific songs in their praise.
