				Pareto's Law

You know it: It's the "80/20 Principle." So -- Which 20% of the things in your life is causing 80% of your problems and unhappiness? Which 20? of the things in your life is resulting in 80% of your desired outcomes and happiness?

I think you'll find it's 15% of Top Management causing 85% of all problems and unhappiness.

Usually, when you do remove that 20% from your life, something else creeps in to take its place...so as far as I can see, it's more a matter of learning to deal with that 20% no matter what it is, although some 20%s will be more difficult to deal with than others and taking steps to get rid of them is worthwhile and will make a huge difference to your life.

I'm going to have to backpeddle a bit here on my previous statements as having removed that 20% from my life (which last year was more like 70%) things are so much better and I am so much happier. No idea how long till that 20% will pop up or wheedle its way into my life again (they say about 6 months I think) but for the moment, am just going to enjoy the respite.

If I were thinner, prettier, richer, smarter, more confident, less sensitive...everything would be AWESOME. So if I could get rid of my lack of perfection I think everything else would fall into place. These are the things we tell ourselves, or some of us do, anyway.
