Redtail In The ATL

I saw the hawk swoop down and nail the pigeon, and then start feasting on it atop the trainsit station; oblivious to the people milling about. Feathers started floating down is a sort of gruesome snowflurry.

He was eatin away and just when I got up to my office window, he took off.

This pic does no justice to the hawks size; it was pretty big, But the good news is he took off and landed on another window ledge where a coworker took up-close pics of the Redtail really chowing down. I'll post a good one tomorrow.
