If you like sweeter tastes, the IPAs probably won't do it for you. I really like the Sweetwater IPA because it has a grapefruit flavour that is delicious, but it is also pretty bitter. If you like grapefruit though, you will probably like that one. but most IPAs don't have that citrusy flavour nearly as much.
Try some of the Belgian ales. They tend to be more sweet and winey flavoured.

Belzebuth is a French ale. I like it a lot, when I'm in the right mood. It's very strong (alcohol content) and it's pretty sweet.
