Actually, getting the new framing to mate with the old framing was somewhat of an unholy union. But now my walls are a true 8 inches thick.
Alas, with global warming it may be wasted effort.
Also note the 200amp service and the rakish angle of... is that the meter? And the phone/dsl and two copper ground cables which I had to cut to pass through the sheathing. Man you should have seen the sparks when i cut that 200 amp cable!
