January 21, 2008: Transparent Toaster
http://cellar.org/2008/toaster.jpg
The inventors of this little device claim it will make burnt toast a thing of the past. The glass itself is the heating element, so the toasting is more even, as well as completely visible to the discerning toast connoisseur. A traditional timer is also included for those who are too busy to watch their toast brown. On the other hand, those people also might be too rushed to have to cook their toast one piece at a time... |
One half of a bagel at a time, hmmmmm
|
I believe it's a concept, they haven't been able to make work yet. The glass doesn't get hot enough to toast the bread, but they are still working on it.
|
Maybe it's shopped ;)
|
That looks like a cool invention, but I bet it's expensive...I don't have that kind of bread.:yelsick:

New meaning to 'Do Not Touch the Glass'
