So Spain will get Africans to pay for a wall.

2 DOG LIMIT

Quote:

A notorious Chinese dog meat festival opened on Wednesday with butchers hacking slabs of canines and cooks frying the flesh despite rumours that authorities would impose a ban this year.

After initial reports that authorities would prohibit the meat at the summer solstice event in the southern town of Yulin, animal rights groups said vendors and officials reached a compromise setting a limit of two dogs displayed per stall.

But multiple carcasses rested on some stalls at the main Nanqiao market, with stiff pointy tails, leathery yellow skin, eyes shut and bared teeth as if in a final growl. ...

... Thousands of dogs have traditionally been killed during the festival in conditions activists describe as brutal, with dogs beaten and boiled alive in the belief that the more terrified they are, the tastier the meat. ...

... Between 10 million and 20 million dogs are killed for food annually in China, according to the Humane Society International.

Dog meat consumption is not illegal in China, but animal rights groups have sought to stop its sale at the annual festival.

Outside the market, vendors sold stewed dog meat out of enormous steaming woks, shovelling big portions into plastic bags for passing customers. ...

... "Business during the festival goes up about ninefold. But don't worry, we always manage to have enough dogs," he said, adding that he planned to sell six dogs a day during the festival.

Quote:

BAHAWALPUR, Pakistan (AP) — An overturned oil tanker burst into flames in Pakistan on Sunday, killing 153 people who had rushed to the scene of the highway accident to gather leaking fuel, a hospital official said as the death toll continued to rise. ...

... A loudspeaker atop a local mosque alerted villagers to the leaking fuel, and scores raced to the site with jerry cans, said Rana Mohammad Salim, deputy commissioner of Bahawalpur. ...

... Abdul Malik, a local police officer who was also among the first to arrive, described a "horrible scene." "I have never seen anything like it in my life. Victims trapped in the fireball. They were screaming for help," he said. When the fire subsided, "we saw bodies everywhere, so many were just skeletons. The people who were alive were in really bad shape," he said. ...

... Saznoor Ahmad, 30, whose two cousins were killed in the fire, said the crowd of people screamed as the flames engulfed them. "The fire moved so fast," he said. When the flames subsided the field was strewn with bodies, and nearby were the charred shells of motorcycles and cars that the villagers had used to race to the scene. ...

... Eyewitnesses said about 30 motorcycles that had carried villagers to the accident site lay charred nearby. Eight other vehicles were destroyed, they said. ...

Police dog accidentally fires gun as officers investigate fight

A police dog in Canada accidentally fired a handgun when its handlers were investigating a fight outside a shop.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers were called to a supermarket in Chestermere, Alberta, when witnesses reported two men assaulting another man with a handgun.

The police dog was tracking the suspects, who had fled the scene, when it uncovered a gun in a bushy area near the store.

Officers said the dog fired one shot, but neither the animal nor officers were injured.

In a news release, police said “the trigger was activated and a shot was fired from the handgun” but no other people were in the area at the time.

“That’s one of the things that our dogs are trained to do, is find evidence,” Corporal Curtis Peters, a communications officer for the RCMP, told CTV News.

“The dog is fine. It’s trained to respond and do its job even in the presence of gunfire, so the dog was quite happy to continue to go to work, as was the handler.”

The victim of the assault was later taken to a hospital with minor injuries and was later released.
Trigger happy pooches.

Or pawed it, which is common with dogs and cats when thy want to check something out, and pulling the trigger with a nail.

I suppose the dog could have stood up on his hind legs, twirled that bad boy around his toe and fanned it.

I see you're thinking ahead to using illegal immigrants to build a wall so when the cartel murders them for building the wall we'll have killed two birds with one stone ... well maybe more than one stone ... the wall will take a few. Brilliant!

An AR16 rifle was never put into production.

Mountain Mule 07-06-2018 01:26 PM

Perhaps Mr. tw was thinking of the Russian RPK-16 light machine gun which uses the standard design and layout of Kalashnikov assault rifle family. The RPK-16 has barrel change capability, so it can be uses as a standard light machine gun with a long barrel or as an assault machine gun with a short barrel.

(So many guns, so little time)

The twit has made so many mistakes with his references that he's been reduced to claiming he's just joking when he makes them; however, that behavior is common in persons with diminished capacity.
