Get used to that. I buried Slick in February, and it's still happening. Regularly.

How's Dan dealing with it?

Dan is doing pretty well, thanks. We've decided to get outta town. That means we have been at the beach visiting with my parents and my brothers family. Its been a very successful distraction.
The problem is that we have Dan's cat Lucky who is also aging very fast. She's coming up on 18 this fall.

Bawled my eyes out last night, because I was taking photos of the rats. Much as I love them, they're not Diz.
I didn't have him as long as you guys had Slick and Harmony, but he was my world.

November 2014 and I still wake up because he's just jumped on my bed.
