Oh she's gorgeous. You must have been gutted when she buggered off. She looks like she's laughing.

Sorry she went too.
That's the trouble with "found" cats, they lose themselves again.

I still mourn my two beautiful losses. Dylan who I believe was taken, and Hely who I had to let go (she was adopted, but I can still raise a tear thinking about how attached she was to me).

Dennis is just so adorable.
I was reading an article on pedigree cats the other day which made me so mad. I know some pedigrees have endemic health problems - dogs moreso than cats, although this article was cat-bashing. But I would never buy a breed that was misformed or distorted in some way. It stated "many pedigree cats need to have their hindquarters shaved and cleaned by their owners as they are no longer capable of cleaning themselves." Many? Many! The only cet I know who was shaved was a plain old fluffy moggie who simply wasn't very clean (no physical issues) and used to end up with matted poop round his extremely shaggy rear.

I assume they meant Persians. Which I think look like alien foetuses wrapped in fur anyway.

My boy is happy and helthy and has twice as much life as any other cat I've known.
I'm sure Dennis is the same, otherwise you would never have bought him, alreayd having another Siamese.

The top one looks as if she is reaching for some deeper understanding. The one at the bottom is clearly plotting world domination.

Beautiful kittehs.

Exactly!! I thought the same thing ... that he was starting off by seeing if he could mentally force me to open the bag of kitty treats! (he looks like he is concentrating hard on something ... maybe it was a hairball)

I think Dennis looks like Sarah Jessica Parker.

Lovely cats, all of them.
Can't say I envy you the fluff tho FD.
I have a ticklish enough time with the Diz-cat's sleek pelt.
But then maybe your cats don't try to sleep on your head in the morning (for the warmth, you know) or insist on being carried round the house like a baby.

I sorta see what Bruce means re Dennis tho.
His nose is larger than his face suggests is possible, but it gives him his distinction.

Did you know Michael Palin had a cat called Dennis?

Omg Dennis is sooo much cuter than SJP, and he's a better actor too.

Actually they (especially Bailey) come and want petted at around 5:30 in the morning ... but they wisely hit up my wife and not me ... no matter how the wife burrows into the covers or pillows, a cat always pursues ...

They realized I give noogies in the mornings, not pets.

I used to have a roommate who was owned by a cat that insisted on showing ME it's butt first thing every morning. It got to anticipate my alarm clock by five minutes, would wander in and sit on my chest and purr to gently wake me and monitor my eyes for signs of life. As soon as I opened even ONE eye, it would immediately turn around and lift it's tail, then go sailing through the air, out the door, into my roommates bedroom, yowling all the way and followed by a stream of invective as only a sailor can do it.

The turtles are much more fun in motion. They can really buzz around underwater.

These guys are begging. They now do this whenever I'm around... they have figured out that I'm their food source.
