Oh NO! My favorite game show might be off the air soon!

Cash Cab Kills a Pedestrian

Actually, I usually only catch the show by accident while I'm surfing, but I always stop to watch it. The driver reminds me of Mike Rowe.

Weird.

They referred to the 61 year old victim as elderly. Wow. I sure don't think of 61 year olds as elderly. I don't even see my 'rents (70 and 72) as elderly. Elderly implies the man was crossing the street as an elderly person might: really slowly and in stops and starts.

He must feel terrible. The driver, not the dead guy.

My wife was childhood friends with the driver. Actually, more with the driver's sister. The parents are still good friends. Fortunately, he (Ben Bailey) had nothing to do with killing a pedestrian. It was a producer.

Well, he might want to consider that what he did is the exact opposite of 'producing.'

(sorry, dark humor, you know.)

Plus it's the Canadian version, so it's only 85% as tragic as if it had happened in NYC.

He was 61 in Canadian years.

Hitting a producer with your car is really far from a tragedy.

So did the pedestrian.

I'm guessing the dead guy ain't feeling too great about it all, either.
