I agree with Zengum. Even if there was compensation, it's normal for a parent to want the truth to come out about the death of their child. In this case, it does now seem like a dingo is likely to have done it.
As to the dingo "undressing" the baby, Ali, it was in several items of clothing, and these were found. I've seen my own dogs remove the fabric from toys to get to the (evil) stuffing inside it (who knows why) and if there is a hole they can pull it out through, they don't bother to tear it. One of the problems with the case is that so much of what we were told were "facts" (like the neat, folded baby outfit) was untrue, either due to rumour or the said dodgy cops.
