I 100% agree there. Since it's free to take pictures I take pictures of stuff that might work out or not. And I definitely take the same pic with different settings. Often ends up being a drag picking the best ones though, when at home.

I have a Kodak DC4800 which I like. It doesn't have very good macro capabilities, but it's got pretty good resolution and I really like the built-in USB and power plug (ie I don't have to take out the batteries to charge them). Also it has a fair amount of manual control if you want it (which I only tend to use for night pictures with >.5s exposures).

Scotland is also MY ancestral home.

My parents hail from Loch Lomond, in the central highlands.

Perhaps someday I'll visit there.
