I resemble number 17, Dana. Actually, where's the 'knock on wood' smilie, I haven't been run into since last summer! Then again, my lid needs replaced so maybe a totalled car without injuries would be OK.

Zen, you're right. Sometimes people really DO suck and they are stealing your ideas and your jokes and a bit of your thunder and they DO think awful things about you that they pass along so others will think awful things about you and they don't respect your humanity and never forgive your human foibles and shortcomings and they hate your clothes and they are almost certainly the pricks who stole your Sea Monkeyİ.

Don't worry, I have therapy this afternoon.

I always say, if you're not a little crazy (or weird) then you're really boring. None of us are boring.

I feel pretty good. And I don't think I do any of those things, really. I don't think I'm going to get a grade at the end of life's lessons. Fuck it. Lets go bowling.

21 Tips to Keep Your Shit Together When You’re Depressed.

22. Before going to bed at night, make sure you have a clean cup, bowl and spoons (or whatever you need for breakfast), even if you leave everything else dirty. Because having to deal with dirty dishes before your first coffee gets a day off to a bad start.

That's why Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks are making millions.

corollary to that - make sure at least one corner of the table or counter is clear enough to make your coffee / breakfast

Nonononono.
It's advice to other people.

I have two friends on Arran.
Four if you count the furries.
And you have helped me enormously.

Other people should realise this is the way to salvation too.

That's what I call thread-drift. It started out as 15 reasons you may be feeling bad, and I read your post in that light, not the getting your shit together cintext.

Ah, but you see. Zen was already on 22 from 21 Tips To Keep Your Shit Together.
But now I understand where the confusion came from.

Good to speak to you anyway, lass.

Next time promise you'll come see me.
Mum already thinks you're very good for me.
A dose of your practicality would floor her; she has no idea how amazeballs you can be. You could talk to her about dementia and such. And being nice to poor old fragile me
You'd leave wondering why I had any issues with such a lovely woman...

And I'd love you to meet Diz.

No, really, the more I think about it the more I'd love you to come for at least a night.
