That sounds gross.

I'd eat it.

monster 08-29-2019 03:48 PM

never heard of it

monster 08-29-2019 03:50 PM

Wikipedia says it's Swedish..... as do many other Google results :/

monster 08-29-2019 03:51 PM

What makes you think it's British?

Gravdigr 08-29-2019 03:59 PM

225 degrees? C, maybe?

glatt 08-29-2019 04:01 PM

It might be good. I like all the things in it. It sounds kinda mushy. Like sweet potatoes all smushed next to the turkey at thanksgiving. I bet it would be good the more I think about it. The peanuts are a little random.

The article might well be British, but it doesn't make the dish a Brit thing

Gravdigr 08-29-2019 04:48 PM

I was suggesting that was what made him think it was a British thing.

Myself, I know fine British cuisine. Well, I would if there were such a thing.

Gravdigr 08-29-2019 04:49 PM

Also, I think Step #5 assures us that this not an Earthly delight...

monster 08-29-2019 04:52 PM

Yes it definitely comes across as an iffy translation

xoxoxoBruce 08-29-2019 10:50 PM

I saw it in a British newspaper, didn't dawn on me it was stolen from another culture.
