My mom is totally freaked out by mimes.

Apparently this one time, when she was in New Orleans (a disastrous trip which contains many good stories) this mime started following her around waving and flailing about...and wouldn't leave her alone...and he was in her face, and kept following her, and flailing, and miming and following...until finally she says:

"WHAT DO YOU WANT???"

and the mime goes

"Do you have a light?"

It could have been a hobo mime. Everytime people on the internet continue a pointless thread, God releases a hobo from life; unless, it's also a mime!

Saturday morning cartoons died when I was a kid (early 90s)....I don't think they exist anymore, do they?

Depends on what you mean. I don't believe the major networks show cartoons on Saturday mornings anymore, but most areas get a PBS station, which does show cartoons on both Saturday and weekday mornings.

If you count cable channels, there are anywhere from 3-15 channels that show cartoons almost 24 hours a day, including at least one classics-only channel I know of that plays the Merry Melodies and Tom & Jerry stuff.
