found it, right under where I'd collapsed it with that little double chevron button thingy. I'm guessing I've clicked it four times now. Once by accident hiding the box, once by discovery to reveal the box again, and one more pair to confirm my discovery.

You did nothing to hide the quick reply box, you did nothing to reveal it. I can see how "thanks" might seem... Inappropriate. Thanks for fixing the button would be, but that's not what I did.

I have opted to receive instant Email notification for new posts in subscribed threads and PMs, yet I never receive any.
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas, please?

OK, trying to think of the easy stuff - Is this one of those threads? Current/correct email on file here? Did you log in to your email? I only get notifications for PM's and thats always worked here for me.

Yes, my Email address is up to date and Email is always on somewhere; phone, iPad or PC.
I opt for any thread where I have posted, to be added to the subscribed list but have never had a notification Email.
FWIW, It hasn't always been like this and I did opt out of receiving notifications a while back, but having opted back in a few months ago it has never worked since.

It turns out we are on a Hotmail block list, in their error. No email from The Cellar will reach Hotmail users at all.

I do not know how to remove us from this list. We are not in Spamhaus or anyone else's blacklist.

BTW this precludes us from taking any new users that try to set up with a hotmail.com email address

This is the error we get
