I know what the Ignore button does, but what is the Buddy list for?
Or is it for more cliquey sites and not really of any use here?

It doesn't apply here because here we are all buddies.

that means they better watch out or else . . . . . They're OFF!!!!

Shawnee123 01-06-2007 10:25 AM

I just went to the currently active users page. What is a slurp spider? (I did try to look it up but I was hoping one of you techie types could explain to me in simpler terms.)

Undertoad 01-06-2007 10:36 AM

Search engines like Yahoo! and Google "spider" the site, which is to say they read and index everything on the front page and then read and index everything that the front page links to, and then everything that every other page links to, and so on.

In any given week Yahoo! and Google read and index the entire site several times. because they have found that doing so doesn't slow down the connection, and because they aren't smart enough not to read old threads. Little things like the cookies, the date stamps, etc. change and this tricks them into believing the whole site has changed.

A "slurp spider" is one process at Yahoo! reading. When there are a hundred of them, they are reading the entire site again.

This site is loaded with features I'll probably never have the time to learn.

Working two part time jobs after the holidays I have even less time than ever.

Iggy 01-06-2007 03:00 PM

I think I must be becoming retarded. I cannot find the tip jar anywhere. Anybody know where to find it?

Undertoad 01-06-2007 03:05 PM

The tip jar is temporarily offline after the upgrade. I have to put it back in by hand. (Thanks!)

Shawnee123 01-09-2007 02:39 PM

Is it possible to put an entire thread on ignore?

DucksNuts 01-09-2007 04:02 PM

Self control? ;)

Oh, and bite me again.

How does one buttfuck someone in the mouth??

I need to know before I mention it to anyone.

Clodfobble 01-12-2007 10:38 PM

It's something you can only learn by demonstration. Flint will be by to visit you shortly.

DucksNuts 01-13-2007 02:39 AM

****taps fingers and awaits Flints arrival......****

Beestie 01-13-2007 02:49 AM

[thought bubble...]
Let's see... hmmmm... I do believe every possible orifice-to-orifice connection has been proposed, suggested and -gulp- anticipated. Did they miss one? ..think... GASP! - not that one! Need to stay hetero here... I think they covered 'em all.

Oh, remember to check back in case DucksNuts posts any pics..

[/thought buggble]

Subdue & restrain chosen victim
Lube up dildo and insert into your own fundament
Turn and squat in front of chosen victim
For normal butt-fucking of mouth simply insert and withdraw from victim's mouth until satisfied

For "chocolate" butt-fuck.....

SteveDallas 01-13-2007 12:23 PM

Paging Dr. Flint . . . .

Flint 01-14-2007 12:44 PM

:::ahem::: Yes, "buttfuck" is used here not so much as in describing the area in which the action is being taken as it is the nature of the act itself. The essence of what it is to "buttfuck" someone can be applied to various situations, IE if you use faulty logic, during a debate, you are likely to get verbally buttfucked. In this case, a buttfuck can be presented as a rebuttal (a variation of the Simpson Maneuver).

yesman065 01-14-2007 12:58 PM

Thanks for the clarification, cuz I thought in some threads I had been . . . oh never mind.

LabRat 01-18-2007 09:08 AM

QUESTION:

When I was deleteing some old pictures from old threads I noticed a counter of how many times a picture had been downloaded. What exactly does this mean? I know that for awhile, some pictures you had to click on a link to see them, but as far as I know all of mine were directly embedded in the thread. I am thinking this means how many times they were saved to someones HD, right?

Undertoad 01-18-2007 09:15 AM

I think so

BigV 01-18-2007 10:28 AM

I know the topic of the cellar's beautiful renovations has been spread over a couple of threads, but this one is thankfully more obvious, so I'll ask here.

Has the multi-quote button been taken away or have I simply neglected to pay for the deluxe cellar package, including undercoating?

Undertoad 01-18-2007 10:31 AM

It's there for me. I don't remember if this is a user option but your user thingie is setup exactly like everyone else's user thingie.

I'm missing something....

Undertoad 01-18-2007 10:41 AM

The multi-quote button is the one on the right of the Quote button, neh?

BigV 01-18-2007 10:50 AM

Yes.

Thank you for returning my brain. I promise to keep it locked up more securely in the future, Officer.

LabRat 01-18-2007 12:23 PM

FYI Biggie:

When I just check in without logging in, the only buton there is the [quote] one. Upon logging in, the multiquote and quick reply show up.

BigV 01-18-2007 12:50 PM

That's sweet of you to try and give me a legitimate reasonable excuse for my ... embarassing oversight. It only serves to make the magical reappearance of the button you described in the screenshot I posted even more miraculous. But I do thank you.

Sundae 01-22-2007 10:37 AM

We seem to have new smilies!
Was there one for the devil previously? And if so, has it disappeared - I can't see it.

Undertoad 01-22-2007 10:40 AM

They may be in a different order, but it's been a few months since I added any, I swear!

busterb 01-22-2007 10:43 AM

Anyway to copy, save more than 1 at time, so I can insert in emails?

Oops. There you go - don't bother making any improvements, just shuffle things every now and then and I'll get all excited....

Undertoad 01-22-2007 11:25 AM

buster, just for you, (and anyone else who notices before I remember to remove the file), here is a ZIP file containing all the smilies:

http://cellar.org/cellarsmilies.zip

BigV 01-22-2007 02:49 PM

thanks!

busterb 01-22-2007 03:15 PM

:thankyou:

Spexxvet 04-28-2007 10:17 AM

Do the smilies rearrange themselves? Why?

Undertoad 04-28-2007 10:45 AM

Well every time I add smiles they wind up in a new weird order. You can specify what order they are supposed to appear, and I try to have 21 of normal-sized ones at order "1" so that only those appear in the first smile box. Otherwise the smiley box gets all streched and confused and muddled.

Spexxvet 04-28-2007 10:48 AM

Good. I thought I was imagining things.

Cloud 04-28-2007 10:48 AM

Have you tried organizing them into different "folders"?

I know another forum I belong to does that, and I think it uses the same forum software

duck_duck 04-28-2007 02:33 PM

Why does it always show me as logged in? I logged out yesterday and tonight when I come on here to read it shows me is logged in. The little green light is turned on under my name.
