Fast Food Condiments

We just bought a new refrigerator and it comes with a 'condiment corral', a little removable bin that fits in one of the door bins to hold condiment packets.

It got me thinking about the extra sauce packets I end up with at fast food restaurants and use at home.

1) Hot pepper packet - In and Out Burger. Two little inch long peppers in a clear plastic packet. Moderately hot.

2) Horsey sauce - Arby's - Who knew horseradish and mayo went so well together.

3) Heinz ketchup - multiple - I love the new dipping containers that some places are using.

4) Hot Picante Sauce - McDonald's - Not authentic salsa but very good on breakfast sandwiches.

I think they're rather a nuisance, except for the Splenda packets. That I keep them out of sight in a cupboard and forget them probably has something to do with that.

Just don't save KFC's Honey Sauce. It's not worth it. Matter of fact, bringing your own honey packets to the KFC is worthwhile.

Wait, what?
I get honey and mustard sauce. But taking actual honey to a chicken fast food place?

Is it for the peas?

I am now extremely amused, imagining peas being served at a KFC.

Like one unopened can, sealed in 1978, that's still never needed to be opened.

Yeah, but when they do it's gonna need honey... lots o' honey. :lol2:

You mean to keep the peas from rolling all over the plate?

At Church's, they put honey on the biscuits. They are my favorite biscuits among chicken joints. I sometimes put honey or jelly on other biscuits to make them palatable.

Never save the salt packets in your car.
