Run-of-the-mill new-member 'Hi!'

Raederle • Jan 23, 2006 11:27 am
Wandered over here from Fark, liked what I saw enough to register and drop everyone a line saying 'Hi!'.

I'll probably be very quiet until I know my way around a little better. However, you guys seem to be relatively kind to newbies so I wanted to introduce myself. I live in Seattle, WA... I do development for a small company that drives me mad with stress (mad!) but allows me to work from home, so it's a bit of a tradeoff.

In my off-hours I generally do a lot of walking around the city when I'm not playing PC/console games. Also a big big reader. That description probably matches a large segment of the population around here :)

Welcome!

All you Farkers may be a bit confused at the lack of "First Boobies" posts here. A bit more substance here, from what I recall of Fark. Although I stopped going to Fark once I found the Cellar, so I can't say what it's like now.

It's probably more or less unchanged, maybe with slightly different cliches.

Though I saw the ad on Fark, I can't really call myself a Farker, having never actually registered there. My net presence is generally pretty low-key, with this being an exception.

Glad you came the fark over. Generally Cellarites are 'real people'. Enjoy the ride.
