Okay, this is one of those IotDs that wouldn't be seen on Friday unless it was a happy ending.

A bunch of rabbit hunters came across this calf's mother and they knew something was wrong. The cow was pacing in circles.

Apparently this calf was born and immediately fell into a deep, but skinny hole.

The hunters were able to dig it out and the calf and mother are doing fine.

It's a sarlacc, like in the Empire Strikes Back. It probably just got done eating Boba Fett.

I'll bet someone was just trying to make organic veal.

This just in . . .

The calf has recovered in plenty of time to make the trip to Joe-Bob's House-O-Barbecue.

It's about time a mining accident had a happy ending.

Well at least it ain't a gerbil in the hole  :speechls: :speechls: :eek2:

The calf probably thought it was warm and cozy just like before mom squirted him out. :)

That's no way to raise cattle.

Anyone can tell that one's planted too deep.

Yea and I bet the rabbits were overjoyed that the hunters got sidetracked.

How did the calf fall in hindquarters first? I think that it must have been grabbed by the rump by a sand shark.
chrisinhouston • Jan 22, 2006 9:13 am
This calf is going to be one screwed up animal. I mean the birth process is hard enough, getting compressed in the nice warm womb and then flushed down the birth canal. Then the bright lights of the new world, then you end up sliding down a hole in the ground. Nuts! :thepain3:

Reminds me of a toilet.

is this some kind of cow abortion? :eyebrow:

You have no doubt heard of "Mad Cow Disease". Well, this is "Mad Cow Mom Disease" -- the tragic manifestation of which is calf abuse. So sad.

On a related note: We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in North America but we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of homeland security.

Can someone fix that?
