Happy Friday! This baby elephant is notable for only one reason: it's the first born in Israel, via artificial insemination. Just by chance, it's also the fourth baby animal pic in a row on Fridays.
Is it just me, or are their ears smaller than normal?
You're thinking of African Elephants. They have the huge ears. These are Asian elephants. They have small ears.
Ear size is dependent on price. They blew the budget on the rest of the elephant, and so they just got the base model ears.
Asian elephants have the smaller ears, right?
Shit, I'm way late.... where'd all these other posts come from?
Hell with that. Wait until the bris.
OK, Bri.....
WTF is a kippa?
Isn't in mirriam-webster.
thanks BigV....
I got buffaloed on the spelling.
Let me see.... An Asian elephant with small ears, that I thought was an African elephant in a Jewish country.
The whole kippa thingie is coming together for me now. :smack: :smack: :smack:
Wow how cute, some of you probably know that I love elephants. I was also just given an elephant decoration for my Christmas tree, from a friend at work, it's so cute.
I'm going to seek more photo's of this new baby born in Lucky Israel.

Still funny! Thankyou, SD threadpicker.
Ear size is irrelevant. You don't eat the ears.
This size difference between African & Asian sounds kind of racist to me.

No? Here's a recipe from Cooks.com.
