In Taiwan, the translation of the Pepsi slogan "Come alive with the Pepsi Generation" came out as "Pepsi will bring your ancestors back from the dead."

One has to wonder if she's in on the joke, or someone just got her that shirt. One also must wonder how many others (I'm assuming she's in Japan) understand it...

thats a good point, i assumed at first that she did, but thien i thought about it and i remember in the late 80's, early 90's owning several shirts with french writing on them. many other people did as well. the only reason i knew what any of it meant was because my mom could translate it for me.

makes you wonder what those other kids were wearing... :)
