9/9/2005: Turtle on casters

xoB writes that a friend of his took this picture of a turtle on a skateboard. Clearly a custom job, and you know these guys live to a century old so perhaps this guy needs the assist. In my old age I hope somebody sees fit to build a set of casters for me, hopefully with Segway-type gyroscopic balancing.

The wheels look like they'd be better on a hard surface then on soft ground. Perhaps he needs an off road model!

Eventually, this dude's gonna wanna get his ride hooked up with twenties. Maybe some custom spinners. Rent-A-Tire[size=1]®[/size], here we come! He's sitting on twenties baby!

See how those wheels are in the exact middle of the tortoise? It's a dead giveaway- this came straight from Central Casting.

He lives in the Philly Zoo. He broke a leg several years ago and they can't get it to heal so they put him on wheels and he lives happily ever after. :biggrin:

That is so cool to see some one really cares about that turtle. They could have just said "Too hard basket" and made Turtle soup out of him :headshake
