Sitka!

We are in the southeast part of the state. It's the area they call "the panhandle". (We never call it that though) :) www.sitka.org

We are quite a distance from Kotzebue - they're in the coooold area! We are about 800 miles north of Seattle.

Hey seakdivers, I have spent time in SE AK (I just now got your name....i'm smart :dunce: ), but mostly in Ketchikan and Juneau, and on the peninsula in Kenai and north from there. Never made it to Sitka.

I LOVE Southeast Alaska. The most beautiful scenery in the world, bar none.

BigV - I love it here! Sitka is much more scenic (and clean) than Juneau or Ketchikan. Not that I am biased or anything :)

ps
I am impressed that you got the name! Here I thought I was being so clever.....
