Since when does a beer ad require a security certificate?

First ad in a while to make me laugh. Thanks.

Yeah I wasn't that interested in watching it in the first place and that clinched my not watching.

I thought it was worth it. Pretty freakin hilarious. Thanks.

I became rather nervous about this as well, and so I went downstairs and got a beer.
If I remember and have time I might try to watch the ad later ... at work.
From someone else's computer.

If you are unsure about clicking the security pop-up, you can watch a lower image quality version of the same ad at ifilm. http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2677569

Good stuff. Not Gunther funny to me, but still funny.

That was a very big ad.
I loved the pile-up at the rabbit fence.
And the music. One of my favorite pieces, actually.

do we know if that's an actual cast of thousands, or if they're CG?
wolf • Aug 17, 2005 10:48 am
Aussies work pretty cheap when there's free beer involved ... so they could be real.
But I don't think they'd be able to get them to keep interest, stay in place, and move where the director wanted them to at the right time ... so that kinda makes CG more likely.
Maybe there's a FAQ.

I think the similarity to LOTR scenes was deliberate. They probably used the same software.
Kagen4o4 • Sep 4, 2005 1:26 am
not the same software. LOTR was shot in NZ and so was the ad. cast looks kiwi too
i love watching them falling over the fence like a bunch of drunken idiots.
