If you knew Europe , like I know Europe....

Remember awhile back there was a test where you had to drag the states to their EXACT position on the US map? I did pretty good.
Well, here's your chance to drag European Countries to there proper position.
I only got 67% on my first shot. :o Yeah we'll any fool can do England, France, Spain and Germany but lets see you place Andora, Vatican City, Lichtenstein, Malta and all those newbie countries EXACTLY where they go.
elSicomoro • Jul 28, 2005 9:49 pm
I got 89%...I was close, but not close enough on Belarus, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bosnia and San Marino.
melidasaur • Jul 28, 2005 10:27 pm
I got 76% but i think it really depends on what order you get them in... had Switzerland and Austria been on the map, I would have gotten Liechtenstein... had Belgium been on the map I could have gotten Luxemborg. I had a general idea of where the places were, but it wasn't good enough.
Clodfobble • Jul 28, 2005 10:32 pm
I got 59%, and that's about 30% better than I expected to do. I suck so hard at geography.
marichiko • Jul 28, 2005 11:13 pm
77% European geography was a lot easier back when I was in school. Everything was either France, Germany, Italy, or the USSR! :headshake
Queen of the Ryche • Jul 28, 2005 11:48 pm
53%. But bring on the US and the capitals.........
BigV • Jul 29, 2005 11:27 am
82%, avg error 62 miles. cool.
Silent • Jul 29, 2005 12:11 pm
91%

Stupid Liechtenstein. Stupid San Marino. They aren't real countries.

Slovenia and Belarus I should have gotten.
xoxoxoBruce • Jul 30, 2005 1:47 pm
Gave it another shot for 73%. It's a lot easier once some key countries are in place.
elSicomoro • Jul 30, 2005 1:55 pm
I got 91% this time, missing Luxembourg, Slovenia, Belgium and the Vatican.

[Cliff Clavin]I'll give you Liechtenstein (their Prince threatened to leave the country if he wasn't given more power not too long ago), but San Marino is the oldest republic in the world. Most other countries are babies compared to it, even though it's 1/3 the size of Washington, DC.[/Cliff Clavin]
mrnoodle • Jul 30, 2005 2:03 pm
not even close. gave up after about 7 former soviet republics in a row right at the beginning.
xoxoxoBruce • Jul 30, 2005 9:45 pm
Third and final try 87% but my finger slipped off the mouse on Ireland. I did however figure out why I have so much trouble with the "new" countries....I don't care. When I learned the "old" countries there was a test later on but not any more. ;)
Urbane Guerrilla • Aug 1, 2005 2:40 am
84%, avg error 28 mi.
Queen of the Ryche • Aug 1, 2005 1:27 pm
Mulligan: second try, 89%, 26 mi.
wolf • Aug 1, 2005 2:14 pm
76% 100 mile error.

It's all about those new countries.

I got Lichtenstein and Luxembourg right ....
lookout123 • Aug 1, 2005 2:41 pm
luxembourg, luxembourg... oh wait! that is the country that was founded on the principle of no humor, right?

I believe you're thinking of Sombertown.

Now, Burgermeister Meisterburger was a very grouchy man. The day that he tripped on a toy and hurt his leg he outlawed toys in Sombertown. The children of Sombertown were very sad.
I could be wrong, though.
lookout123 • Aug 1, 2005 3:27 pm
very nice, BigV, very nice. i was actually alluding to this though.
BigV • Aug 1, 2005 3:54 pm
hahaha! Thanks for the correction and the laugh! :)

Random Cellarite Fact: xoxoxoBruce is known worldwide for his lawn gnome collection. coincidentally, young children often go missing around his house.
Now look, those little bastards should stay in their own yard. It's bad enough I have to pay for their school and their busses are always holding me up but I don't have to suffer the little smelly urchilns at home. :rar:
