In light of lookout's post about people going AWOL i thought I'd only be polite to say goodbye, I've landed some serious work in distant and remote lands so I'll be out of contact for somewhere between 1 1/2 months and a year. If all goes well you'll hear all about it when I get back. The rest is in the title.

The Chinese give you large amounts of food, but you're hungry again an hour later.

The Japanese give you small amounts of food and so you leave needing to go get a Big Mac or something to fill the gaping emptiness in your tummy.

I don't trust a culture that gives you raw food and tells you it's some damn kind of delicacy because some sweaty guy fanned the rice to cool it to the proper level of stickyness and rolled it up in seaweed.

Hey, maybe that's part of why I hate the French!! Steak Tartar!
