Drugs Aren't Cool --- You Will Burn Yourself

This is a sad state of what may transpire within the realms of drug induced individuals.undefined

What, you mean like Richard Pryor?
Elspode • Jun 30, 2005 1:51 pm
Gee...back in the 70's, we just called it a supercharger.

Guess technology has improved everything, even plastic bottles covered with duct tape.
Velvet Fish • Jul 1, 2005 3:48 am
Yes, I mean like Richard Pryer and back when we called it other names. It has come to be so more sophisticated to say the least as to how individuals "get their freak on" so to speak. I hope no one gets caught up within this realm of darkness.

Put the stem down and slowly step back from the keyboard.

The first step is admitting that you are powerless and your life has become unmanageable.....
Velvet Fish • Jul 1, 2005 6:33 pm
I take some pretty unusual pictures and this is a prime example. This picture has no bearing to the photographer.
capnhowdy • Jul 1, 2005 6:57 pm
don't know why
it makes me think of ....

"Captain Fantastic- raised and regimented,
hardly a hero, that somebody's mother might know..........."
Oh!, Those 70's.

Yes...and the next step is addiction. :fuse:

Disclaimer: The photograph taken by the photographer was not a reflection of the photographer, but a photograph taken of a drug induced individual that I came across that did not want their photograph taken.

I was able to capture the device of which they utlized for their self destruction. Furthermore, the photographer does not seek nor frequent places of such despair.

Personally, I took this photograph to expose the drug induced individuals intense involvement into the dark realm.

plthijinx • Jul 3, 2005 1:54 pm

capnhowdy • Jul 3, 2005 10:17 pm
I hate it when that happens......& I remember it.

Drugs fuck you up so bad you can't even make this simple smoking aid without cutting your finger. ;)
Trilby • Jul 4, 2005 8:32 am
I like what a comic said about the effects of quitting pot. He said for the first week he thought he was psychic because he could remember where he put his keys!

I think the most important message for this generation concerning drugs is this: Drugs are bad, mmmmkay? :)

I feel so much better it's ridiculous. Must be the pink cloud.
capnhowdy • Jul 4, 2005 9:01 am
:o drugs may fuck you up so bad that you will cut the bottom out of a perfectly good smoking aid and then tape it back up....... :o
Velvet Fish • Jul 6, 2005 8:20 am
I recall someones quote stating............"when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro". Sums it up, don't you think?

Fish, I know the numbers of a couple of good rehabs.

...or maybe she should come visit you for a while.....(at work, not home)

I admire the "finger pointing" for it has struck a nerve in you, but....why would I post such a pic? That would be quite self incriminating don't you think or a cry for help obviously.

My photography isn't a generic form for everyone. It does draw quite a bit of criticism that stirs most, whether or not you like it or not. Many prefer to keep those blinders on....it is reality within our society today.

And .... it has stirred you to post a reply. Thank you.
Queen of the Ryche • Jul 7, 2005 9:51 am
Speaking for myself, I actually admire your photography, it's the strange pseudo-existential talk that follows your pics that makes me wonder, do you speak and think like this full time, like when you're kicking back with your friends, or do you feel a need to try and impress the Cellarites? I'm much more impressed by straightforward, unadulterated wit.
Undertoad • Jul 7, 2005 10:06 am
Yknow, that's a good call Q.
Queen of the Ryche • Jul 7, 2005 10:14 am
Thanks UT. (That's why I admire you and Wolf so much - you two can slay me in ten words or less.)
Velvet Fish • Jul 12, 2005 8:19 am
I don't need to impress anyone on here for that is not my intentions. Just thought I would share some of my stuff with you all.
LabRat • Jul 12, 2005 2:40 pm
so, show us some more of your photography then...

The 'shopped dynotape on the tube spoils it.

The duct tape, coupled with the plaster on the finger is a powerful metaphor.

Is plaster Brit for a Band-aid (bandage)?
