Uh, SO, WHERE are the FORKS PICS??

Trilby • Jun 28, 2005 1:21 pm
I don't want to pressure anybody (wolf, richlevy) but WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PICS? That is all. :)
wolf • Jun 28, 2005 2:14 pm
Mine are in my camera.

Richlevy's are in his, but at last notice his camera was MIA and not discovered in the cleanup. Hopefully it is under the front seat in his car.

SteveDallas' are in his.

Sycamore's are in his, but he's trying to adjust to being back in St. Louis and is in the midst of severe cheesesteak and cultural withdrawal.

BrianR's are in his.

So that's where all the forks pics are.

We'll get to it.

Don't worry.

This is true enough, although I didn't have [m]any interesting ones, and some of the ones I thought might be interesting weren't good becuase the autofocus was doing something weird that didn't include focusing, or at least not the way I wanted it to. And I honestly wasn't in much of a mood to exert myself to take pictures, so, eh.

But I will post what I have in the next day or so.

Let's check with Homeland Security and see if the satellite pics are available yet.

Regardless of the high cloud cover, not enough sunscreen can lead to this. : ouch:

As the discussions became more heated, some got a little bent out of shape. :grr:

*whew* i sure am glad i let that temptation pass right by me. ;)
Lunaephiliac • Jun 28, 2005 5:29 pm
That's the funniest thing I've seen today. (I'm easily amused)

richlevy • Jun 28, 2005 8:56 pm
I found my camera. Here is a quick strip of the best pictures.
richlevy • Jun 28, 2005 9:16 pm
Oops, I forgot the real fork.
wolf • Jun 28, 2005 11:37 pm
Sweet!

Oh, yeah ... the fork, which had been stolen two years ago, found it's own way home.

Really.

Next year is Forks XXV.

For real.

Mine are on my computer, which is not hooked up right now. Plus, it will take me forever to upload them on dialup. Hopefully, we'll have cable internet--and my parents will have their computer out of my room--by next week.

Looks like you got some good shots rich, but damn, where'd I leave my magnifying glass?
BrianR • Jun 29, 2005 10:21 am
Here is one or two of the only ones that turned out good enough. I seriously need to reread that manual...
BrianR • Jun 29, 2005 10:22 am
and more:

Crap. Didn't anyone tell you "no photography during the human sacrifice?"

You're always allowed to take pictures of the smouldering embers, just not the actual auto da fe.

Thanks for coming to forks, and for sharing the pics, brian and rich.
BrianR • Jun 29, 2005 5:42 pm
Hey now, the writhing body isn't actually IN the picture...I framed it out for public consumption. ;)

I have to say, this is one of the greatest portraits of me ever.
