Or until I decide that it looks like food.
beavis • May 27, 2005 2:58 pm
i don't think i could "bear" to eat such a cute animal...
wolf • May 27, 2005 3:05 pm
One of my coworkers won't eat beef because she thinks cows are cute. She saw "Babe" and now declines to eat pork. She continues to eat chicken because "I can't bond with a chicken. I find one of those suckers with a personality, though, and that's it, I'm done, I'm becoming a vegetarian."
BigV • May 27, 2005 3:05 pm
Perhaps this will help...
Undertoad • May 27, 2005 3:08 pm
I've had bear stew. It was very good. A stronger-tasting, stringier beef.
Troubleshooter • May 27, 2005 3:18 pm
I'm looking forward to mammoth stew when they clone the one they found in siberia.

Eeeeeeeee...look how CUTE! Awwwww...

Wolf: I can't eat anything I've had as a pet. That pretty much limits my intake to vegetarian and coffee. Seafood is justifiable homicide, I guess(I'm borderline anemic, and the doctor says that if I don't eat seafood, I'll die...lol). BUT--I can't purge crawfish, and if one escapes, it's a pet.

If she ever sees a stretch of beautiful farmland I suppose she'd have to be IV feed vitamins and minerals. But then again she may have had a pet rock............Evidently she's never had a garden either.
BEAR: Another meat..........................

My guess is you can do just about anything you decide you want to.
Not the type to sit in the corner and say "Oh, I couldn't" ;)

Excellent choice, UT.

My wife knew a farmer that had 3 pigs , named Ham , Bacon , and Sausage , and that was what they were for .

I guess I've found my new desktop background for the next few months...

Well, I think it is way wrong to discriminate against animals like some people do! It's not the toad's fault it's ugly! Not eating a chicken because it is ugly, or makes funny sounds or whatever is very unfair. How would you like it if someone called you ugly, than wouldn't play outside with you when you were a kid. We should all just get along with the entire ecosystem. GOSH!
wolf • May 28, 2005 7:17 pm
I do get along with the entire ecosystem. Often with barbecue sauce.

Except Mushrooms.

I get off on the thought of eating dinosaurs.

If we're not supposed to eat them, why are they made of meat?

Chris

(who just bought a gas grill yesterday)

HA HA! Gotta 'member that one. Bar-B-Q chix and pork ribs on the grill last night, T-bone tonight. God, I love grilling season. Our beef comes from a friends farm, and we have it processed as we want it. That's the only way to go. Once we did it, we've pretty much never bought store meat again. Yum. *drooling*

Sweet picture.
