my weekend back home

Retreated to the motherland this weekend to hang out with the guys, prey on our friends' younger sisters (wow) and put as many substances as we could obtain in our bodies. Really that just amounted to booze and the green stuff, but it was still one of "those" weekends.

Anyway, from the ritual Saturday afternoon mid-hangover golf round - if you care:

Look at my stellar form:

You gonna play that?

Being stupid

I cursed at my monitor when I took this photo because I saw that speck of dirt in the middle - but then upon further inspection, I realized I took a shot of a bird and had no idea, even against that blue/white-ass sky.

This photo is unadjusted - it was pitch black on the course but seriously blue in the distance. It was actually really beautiful.

This is two minutes before it started break-ass raining and we got soaked.

Golf is taken very, very seriously in the northeastern US. All major cities are surrounded by courses that are beautifully set up and manicured. The very best of them are membership only, others are open to the public.

This is good ole central New Jersey, little known to most folks for having some of the best landscape in the country.

That's actually the golf course at my high school. Yes, I went to one of those snotty places.

You're right, it's little know for that. ;)
