From the always wonderful
Boing Boing comes this rather undocumented occurrence, a
shot found by someone doing an image search for skyscrapers, but the first 20 pages of Google image search doesn't turn up anything like it.
I would not describe it as a skyscraper, so much as a "tornado lure". But it looks like the thing is properly set up with guy wires and all. It would be fun to live in... for a day.
I wouldn't make it halfway up the ladder, how the hell would I sleep in it?
Maybe a low budget fire station?
I don't know if your monitor is as sharp as mine, so i took the liberty of enhancing that image and zooming in a bit. i think you'll see something interesting there. Unfortunately, this exposes one of our members as a fraud. Imagine leading us all to believe that he's a successful musician in LA, when in fact, we now have photographic proof that he resides in a hillbilly highrise. it makes me sad.
darwin award waiting to happen
Just last week SonofV asked me the difference between "May I...?" and "Can I...?". Nothing I said could have illustrated the difference better than this picture.
