I seen an awful lot of women change persona when they put a hat on......a whole attitude and perspective transformation. Sometimes it's for the better. :)

Men too. I have variations of cowboy hats, felt and straw, one top hat, and some racing caps (the kind you wear in sports cars), in addition to loads of baseball caps. Whether the hat affects the mood or the mood affects the choice of hat is the question.
