4/8/2005: Dog rescued from ice

Didn't note where I picked up this set (somebody want to take credit?), but the accompanying story did say that the dog was in the drink for 20 minutes but walked away none the worse for it, and the rescuers took several falls through the ice themselves before making it out. Looks like they are happy to take a dunk after the dog is safe and sound. Good work all.

Good song. 1986 I think? Kill 'Em All was 1984? I'll let someone else look it up and tell me I'm wrong. :D

I like the look on that dog's face in the last one, like "OK HOLY S#!T THAT WAS COLD TIME TO GO..."

"The twins! I can't feel the twins!"

Depending on where that picture was taken ... there's an excellent likelihood that the twins went on a little vacation some years ago ...

"The twins! I can't feel the twins!"

Perfect.

I think that dog has an embarrassed look on its face. " I can't believe this big fuss everyone is making!"

If he doesn't alter his course, he's going to fall right back in in a few steps.

Unless that's a puddle on top of the ice, instead of a thin spot in it.

Lucky it was shallow, those guys might have been more reticent to walk out there. Would probably have taken a lot longer to get more equipment out there if there was a danger of those guys going into deep water.
