France, which seems to indicate that this massive ice sculpture was part of a reception for the modern dance of Robert Wilson?

what the heck is Nagakute, I can understand the rest easily enough.

all i can think is "Dr Zaius, Dr Zaius!" as sung by the Simpson's.

Very beautiful.
I wonder how big it really is. If the houses and things in the background are real, this thing is enormous.
Where did the flourescent fishy go in the second image?

I'd guess the fish is a boat.

Dr. Zaius made a monkey out of me.

This is part of EXPO 2005 Aichi, Japan. The sculpture reminds me of the National Geographic pictures of the snow monkeys sitting in the hot springs. :biggrin:

Bruce, thats what I thought as well. I remember seeing the shows about those. They are some smart monkeys! :)

Very creative with the sculpture. I love it. I wonder how long it took to make.
