Why??????

I was fired yesterday.Actually, I was asked to go after two month I got started. The reason is funny. I'm overqualified for the position.
It's okay. However, what bullshit reason is it? Why? I did my best. And...I really did.

I'm sorry to hear that. At least now you can collect unemployment :)
What kind of job was it?

Oh, I am so sorry! Being fired is such a blow to your self-esteem. But remember, a lot of really, really smart, good people have been fired, or let go from a job. Sometimes it's simply a matter of office politics! Hang in there because it WILL get better. A lot of hard changes are blessings in disguise.

Because it's not always about you. I've found that when things like this happen to me it is generally the result of someone else's inadequacies.

Not always mind you. If I fuck up it's usually pretty spectacular.

Hi, stasey. I really don't know can I call it "fired" .I should work for 60 days before to get the benefits. Well, my boss even could not wait extra month.:)
It was confusing since the beginning. It was some kind of mess with duties.
Although my position called a clerk, my boss wanted me to do the analytical research. After i came out with reports and procedures programs. He liked that, asked me to prepare everything for his report....
Since that I felt something changed between me and my co-workers.Week later after that I'm here . "Overqualified".
What was a f... reason to hire me?! And the reason to fire me then?

Thanks, Brianna. My self-esteem is much better this days. I finally know I didn't lose the ability to be an executive, analyst etc.
But I really want to understand what I did wrong.

I guess either once they saw your work they were afraid you'd ask for more money or your boss realized you could easily replace him. Sucks either way, good luck! :)

Was it a job that entailed writing coherently?

First af all, I was a 3-rd person for that short time :)position. Nobody really knows how to run the department. Unfortunately, I knew. I was so stupid to show how.

"your boss realized you could easily replace him"

She was so nice to me. She asked me to leave immediately, but she will pay me for the whole week. Just leave please. You can find something much better, it's not your level job....blah-blah-blah. You even know so much about computer programs :3_eyes: :yelsick:
