you know, i got a chuckle from that but then i got to thinking... that is a very appropriate vision of our role in the world. when nations need or want something from the US, they are on their knees in front of us with nothing but smiles and sunshine. but behind our backs they are sticking it right in our pooper.

I interpreted that as having to stand idly by while our pockets were getting picked, we know it, and can't do one goddamned thing about it.
