12/7: Fat cat

You always hear about "fatcat deals", well here is the original fat cat. This from a page of images with all sorts of feline weirdness; we've seen other malformed cats here recently, so I went for the fat cat. But the page also includes cats with multiple heads, more than four paws, conjoined kittens, a green kitten, and a midget cat. And more fat cats.

This one isn't the record holder; but the actual heaviest cat's weight is under dispute. But it's somewhere between 47 and 53 pounds.

It's not clear from the page which cat this is, what it's name and/or weight is. But if it isn't named "Jabba" or "Hut", that's only because it lived before Star Wars came out.

Cleo, asleep on the back of the chair here, is a cute little tub, weighing maybe 12 or 13 lbs. I'm always giving her a hard time about getting fat.

But that page was just plain scary.

I stop reading it now. Time to pet the cat.
