Ok, if Dick Clark is out of the picture, who is going to host the New Year's Eve fest in Time Square??? If Clark isn't there, will we even have a New Year or will we be stuck in 2004 until he can recover??? what do we do, what do we do?

Regis Philbin is filling in for Dick Clark and Ashlee Simpson will be hosting on the West Coast. couldn't they have gotten someone less annoying, even Gilbert Godfrey would be better and my ears bleed every time i hear his voice. :(
Let us hope that Regis was chosen so that we, the viewing audience, would understand that they don't intend for him to do this ever, ever again.
