Proof that we have fall in the South! ...and some generic Thanksgiving shots. The moment you guys up North get some snow, I want to see some pics! It'll be the closest I get to it this year unless Atlanta sees some on Christmas when I head home.

Looks awesome J!

There is something right in the world, when there is pie.

note the venti, decaf, soy latte, extra hot in the foreground. ;)

And the star is a nice touch for such a festival!

Wait-- are those store bought cookies in the package next to the pie? Blasphemy!
xoxoxoBruce • Dec 4, 2004 11:44 pm
Maybe just a recycled package.

Getting the tree

They all sucked and we ended up buying a cut one in the parking lot, but the kids had fun with the wagon anyway.

Sweet potato? Oh, baby. Add in a pecan pie and you've baked temporary heaven.

Jinx, is there something you're not telling us about your, um...religious leanings?

I've never made a pecan pie but it's one of my favorites. Maybe I should look at recipes..

blue lights signify what? I always thought they were just some really old couple who were too cheap to buy new ones :) i am not being sarcastic, i actually am curious. thanks.

I was thinking judaism but Patrick probably meant something more earthy. The answer is no regardless though, I don't have any religious leanings at all.

Blue and White lights traditionally go on the Hannukah Bush ...

Didn't you ever play that game riding around looking at lights? As you pass the houses, you guess about the occupants ...

Christian ... Christian ... Christian ... Jew ... Christian ... Italian ...

Actually for the blue and white lights the correct answer answer is "Reform Jew".

Lately I'm occasionally able to add "pagan" to the list ...

There was a fellow who had wrapped strands of a single color of lights around each of four trees in his yard.

And he got the color correspondences correct for the directions. That's how I went from "suspected" to "confirmed".

So when does the Mrs. Clause outfit get broken out?
lumberjim • Dec 7, 2004 3:08 pm
actually, I think spode was referring to paganism, not judaism. that would be six pointed stars.
