Terror threat level dropped to yellow

That's right. I know you've been cowering in your safe rooms with your rolls of duct tape, but you might want to consider coming out now. It's still not safe, since we're still three levels away form the safest green level, but the oppressive orange "high" level has been removed. Breath a sigh of relief.

Hey maybe Ashcroft was right...we're all safe now!

yup, the election is over, you can all relax now.

Thank GOD George W. Bush was re-elected! Clearly, this proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that his presidency has indeed made us safer than we were. It is also proof positive that there is *no* political motivation to these threat levels, because if there were, they would have lowered it right before the election!

OH...wait...what? Huh? Sorry. I was channelling Ashcroft there for a minute.

So what do I do with all that duct tape and plastic tarps for sealing windows and doors?
Undertoad • Nov 10, 2004 7:18 pm
Seal the windows and doors... it's cold out there.

Slang will be grateful. He can go back to just the one handgun until we go back up to Orange.

But yes, the plastic and duct tape stays in place. It's really cozy.

That proves they don't know how dangerous Bush & Co are. :eyebrow:
