In terms of appearance, ease of use, uptime, and privacy, which is a better diary service, blogger.com or easyjournal.com?

I don't read or use either. As much as I enjoy participating in the online community which is cellar.org (as well as several other BBS sites including The Ciberbosque, I don't understand the attraction of bloggage. The minutae of my and others lives is really just not that attractive, nor can I conceive of any good reason to participate in that kind of written exhibitionism/voyerism.

I can understand your point, I don't want my information being published publically, but the thing about easyjournal is that you can keep is so that its private.

So why not write a journal on paper (yeah, I'm a luddite) or just keep it as a text file on your own computer, or even use the "save draft" feature available on a lot of web-based email programs?

Nothing online is ever really private.

Quite honestly, because I like to be different, and I'm completely into computers. Stupid but accurate.
