2/11: Mir

Continuing in the "space" theme. I hadn't seen a good, close-up, single image of the Mir space station until I saw this. It doesn't exactly look like the rock of Gibraltar, does it?

Isn't it supposed to be crashing to Earth in the next few months? I know that its impending crash has put a crimp in NBC's 2001-02 schedule. *chuckles*

Looks like a fixer-upper. How're the schools in that neighborhood?
