 O.K. This is embarassing, but in exactly 2 hours I will be on my first match.com set-up. If anyone has had ANY success with this please let me know because I am as nervous as all get-out. I keep thinking that they won't let him in where we are supposed to meet on a strict no pets policy. If you are too embaressed you may PM me....
Oh yeah, had a friend that used match.com. She was murdered on the first date.
Seriously, you'll click or you won't, but you might have a pleasant conversation even if you don't. And I'm sure he's just as nervous, or more, than you are. Whatta ya got to lose? ;)
I met the GREATEST guy a couple months ago on Match.com! I'd been on some bad dates, and was ready to give up. I'm glad I didn't! Things are going great for us, I feel really lucky. So take the chance, if you don't try you'll never know, right? Best of luck! :3eye:
Flippant, I wish you the best of luck..unfortunately the few relationships of mine that started online did not have happy endings....however, that doesn't mean they don't happen....(Check out UT's smile as proof!) - Just be yourself....that's the person they were interested in to begin with.
I met my wife on match.com. Of course, she wasn't me wife then, but she is now. She replied to an ad I had placed some months before, which I had all but forgotten about. It was the first in a still-in-progress series of pleasant surprises.
Online dating wasn't the way to go for me, it got me into more trouble and heartache then I could handle sometimes.
Just be careful and GO SLOW!! and you'll be fine.
Thanks.........it went great.....I didn't post my pic and neither did he and guess what? We weren't ugly! Ha ha! Even if we aren't romantic at least I have a new pool playing chum...Thanks,I was sweating bullets. :D
Yikes!

Well, I guess they can't nail them for prostitution if it didn't go any further than dinner and a movie . . . .
