Watermelon cutting into Art

One colleague sent me these good pictures. Hope you can learn to cut the watermelon like them.

It is obvious to me that I have wasted my life. Sigh.

And here we have another great example of why playing with your food should be encouraged. Those are awesome!

Plug a bottle of vodka into it and I'd call it complete.

I am very happy that you like the good pictures. The lamp drags me to home.

Those are terriffic! I wish I had even HALF of that artistic talent.

It is easy for you to do, just get one knife and many watermelons.
Good luck to you.

Every time I think I've seen it all, human beings again amaze me. Fortunately, this time, it is amazement in a good way.

Those are *incredible*. What a brilliant concept; what amazing execution.

Yeah, I always well up with pride for the artistic ability of mankind when I see things like that. Well, that, and Octodogs.

it's quite easy to make the octodog if you have the octodogger... http://www.octodog.net/.

Yeah, but don't you think that takes the magic out of it? A true artist does not carve hotdogs with the aid of a fancy automated device! Their manual efforts are the only way they can put their soul into the work and create a truly unique, eight-legged masterpiece of beefy goodness. Had I a son and if he were to see me making his lunch with a patented Octodogger, that meal would surely end up on the floor along with his tears.

 the t-shirt is cheaper than the octodogger!!

My God, please delete Kitsune's pic. It cannot compare with the watermelon pix.

Nah, it provides a bit of kistch to temper the class in your pics. :)

But come on, if you need an "octodogger" to do that, then it's probably best if you just wall off your kitchen and eat out from now on. But watch out for the forks at the restaurant, they can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

Don't worry, I would never use an octodogger... nor would I make octodogs.
Elspode • Sep 24, 2004 10:05 pm
Octodogs...I...I...I'm...speechless. They are an abomination against humanity. Betty Crocker would be spinning in her grave, if she had ever existed at all.

Still...it is good to know that the R&D program at the State Hospital for Culinary Insanity is turning out new product.

Beautiful pictures, Billy.

Octodogger, step#4--"Remove base, then eyes and lightly shake the holder to allow the hot dog to fall out." Why do I have these visions of the clown trying to throw away a sticky tissue. And when it finally does let go,...duck. :eyebrow:
