Grand Ole Woodstock Fair

It's agricultural fair season in New England and one of the oldest, longest running is the Woodstock Fair in the northeast corner of Connecticut, my home town. It's always a good time going to check out the the farm animals, exhibits, rides, shows and other attractions. That and to pig out at an endless variety of food booths!

I went to a festival yesterday and enjoyed the culinary wonders of fried dough and grilled everything. :yum: Nothing better!

What breed/species/type of chicken is that in the above photo, because I want one...they look so...strange....

you are only allowed to have a chicken if you promise to treat it humanely. And get Garnet's approval... :)

Oh, that's called a Collapsible. :lol:

That calf in the yoke is a Brown Swiss. I used to raise and show them. Come to think of it, they all came from CT.
