Actually, I find it less awful because he's so old--it makes her motives obvious. If he were 50, she'd have to be willing to go through a lot more to wait until he died. This way, I don't have to struggle with the idea that maybe she's genuinely attracted to him.

I'd like to know more details. How did this come about? How did they meet? Do they have a contract? Do they intend to marry? Why did he want a child? Are they leaving China? I just think we all get creeped out when we think of that young girl actually sleeping with that old fart. Sorta like Woody Allen and Soon Yi, although there were different dynamics there. one of my best friends is married to a really unnatractive guy who's 25 years older than her. Who cares if the old man gets some? Looks like they have an arrangement that may not be for a lot of people. I can't imagine that it's any of our business, even if the only agreement they have is "You keep blowing me, and let me trot you out to the Senior's Center so everyone can see us together, and I'll keep giving you money". At least that would be more honest than many more traditional relationships.
